Bermanzi is situated in the northern part of the Drakensberg, nestled on the edge of the escarpment between the Mpumalanga towns of Machadodorp & Waterval Boven.
ACCOMMODATION
VAKASHANI MOUNTAIN LODGE FOR 10
* Splendid views of the Komati River Valley & surrounding areas.
* Accommodation is available for up to 10 people.
* Fully equipped with all amenities & fireplace.
* Lounge offers balcony with spectacular views.
* Rock swimming pool.
IN-THE-ROCKS 4 TWO, COUPLE'S GETAWAY
* En-suite bedroom, accommodates 2 people.
* Own kitchenette with fireplace & satellite television.
* Own patio with views of the mountains & Komati Valley.
* Braai facilities.
THE STABLES, HIKER'S RENDEZVOUS
* Comfortable accommodation in rooms with bunk beds/mattresses & large loft with mattresses.
* 2 Bomas with braai facilities.
* 2 Large kitchens with all amenities.
* Ample ablution facilities have hot/cold showers.
HIKING
BERMANZI 2 DAY - BACK TO BASE TRAIL
* 12 Km on the first day & either 4 km or 8 km the second day.
* Route is marked with white footsteps & there are poles with numbers to help you.
* It's essential to have the hiking route map & directions with you.
* Small children must be accompanied by adults.
OOM PAUL'S 2 DAY - BACKPACKERS TRAIL
* Between 9 km & 13 km.
* Sleeping first night in the stables & second night in the "Aloë-Kaya" camp on the adjoining Five Assegais Country Estate.
* Trail goes though an indigenous forest with variety of trees & birdlife.
NUM-NUM TRAIL
* Between 5 or 3 days.
* 5 Day Trail on private land in South Africa.
* Managed by Bermanzi & Five Assegais Country Estate.

* Magnificent sights of the Bankspruit Waterfall, second highest waterfall in Mpumalanga.
HORSE RIDING
* Children under supervision is available in a restricted area.
